Configurations |

The configurations setting is an important section to complete prior to performing quotes and using repair times as it determines what parts and prices and times are set when performing a quote. To access the configurations screen, click on the 'Burson Home' or 'Shopping Cart' button from the main Ezyparts screen and click on the 'Configurations F4' button. In the configurations screen, you should setup the following settings. Logo For Quotes - Under the 'Upload Logo' sub heading, click on the 'Browse for File' button, you can now locate your company logo and save it by clicking on the 'Upload this Logo' button and if you ever want to check your existing logo for quotes and vehicle service check sheets, click on the 'Check my logo on Ezyparts server' button. Quote Pricing Settings - Default quote price settings can be set for when performing a customer quote. Under the sub heading 'Parts pricing markup from cost Settings' you have the option of 'Always start in Markup mode' and you can set your default markup price from trade price for when performing quotes. The default parts price markup is 50%. You also have the option of applying a discount to quotes by setting a 'Default Discount' of your own in the form of a percentage discount. You are also required to setup your 'Logbook Labour Rate' by entering a price for charging labour to a customer per hour next to the 'Labour Rate per hr' and you should also list the 'Cost per hr' rate which will assist you to calculate your margin when composing a quote. Order Settings - You can select an option on how you want the order submission to be handled, select the tickbox under the 'Order Submission Pop-up' sub heading to receive a pop up alert that your order has been submitted. Quick Quote Settings - The quick quote settings are required to be setup for when doing quickquotes as it eliminates the need to select between different brands of parts allowing you to price all the required parts for a logbook service in one hit. Select your 'A: Filtration' & 'B- Lubricants' and click on the'Save' button. You also have the option of 'Always start in QuickQuote mode' when performing quotes. Screen Size - You can select how you want EzyParts to display when opened, there are 3 options - Normal (1024x768), Full Height, Full Screen. PDF Compatibility - You can select how you want Quotes and Job Check Sheets to open within EzyParts or Internet Browser PDF viewer.
